Wrestlution IV - tickets still available
The World Wide Wrestling League’s biggest annual event WRESTLUTION IV is coming to the Albert Halls in Stirling on October 29th. Doors open for the event at 1830 with the first bell set to ring at 1900.
The big event will be headlined by the return of W3L Heavyweight Champion James “Darkside” Scott. James was put out of action with severe back injuries following a car accident shortly after winning the championship earlier this year. In the champions absence an interim championship was commissioned and is currently held by crafty Irishman Damian O’Connor. The W3L Championships will be unified at Wrestlution IV as James Scott takes on Damian O’Connor to determine who is the undisputed W3L Heavyweight Champion. Another featured contest will see a grudge match between former heavyweight champions as fan favourite Mike Musso takes on England’s David Paris. The grudge match will see the two compete under “Last Man Standing” rules the match will end only when one wrestler is knocked down and can not answer the referees 10 count. These two have been battling since last years Wrestlution event but the W3L promoters have sanctioned this contest to define one clear winner.
The Wrestlution card will also see Women’s title action as Nikki Storm will face Miss Viperto crown a new W3L Womens Champion. Tag Team action is also lined up as the W3L Tag Team Champions Freddy Da Funk and Magic Mackie will be defending their championship that they have held for over a year against a pair of mystery challengers who’s manager has insisted their identity is not revealed until match time.
A throwback for our older fans will see the W3L British Rules championship being defended as champion Jack Jester takes on Adam Shame. The British rules championship is contested in 6, 5 minute rounds with the winner requiring 2 falls, 2 submissions or a knock out just like yesteryear when the popular old style British wrestling that was televised across the nation.
