On August 15th the W3L landscape changed as a new Interim W3L Heavyweight Champion was crowned. Mike Musso was defeated by Irelands Damian O’Connor in a back and forth match that saw Damian lift the title after striking Musso with a low blow behind the referees back.

The stage is now set for Wrestlution IV at the Albert Halls in Stirling on October 29th. Damian O’Connor will defend the interim championship against this years Seven Deadly Sins and Fight For Your Flag winner Wolfgang. Will the red and yellow clad Scottish star make 2010 the year of the Wolf by lifting the W3L Interim Championship on the W3L’s grandest stage – Wrestlution?

Meanwhile with a title re-match guaranteed at a later date Mike Musso must take care of unfinished business with David Paris. The W3L commissioner has ruled that the feud between the two former “snake pit” students and W3L champions must end at Wrestlution IV. A feud that began in April 2008 over the W3L Championship will end on October 29th at Wrestlution IV with no titles but professional pride on the line. A decisive winner is guaranteed as the match will be a Last Man Standing match, with the match ending only when one competitor can not answer the referees 10 count. Security will be high at ringside and the commissioner has vowed that any outside interference will result in the perpetrator being banished from the W3L forever.

Tickets for Wrestlution IV are on sale now from the Albert Halls and W3Lwrestling.com’s online store.
