W3L Remedy hits Dunfermline

W3L Remedy hits Dunfermline Posted on Friday 14th of December 2007

The World Wide Wrestling League will return to Carnegie Leisure Centre in Dunfermline on Saturday April 5th for our annual presentation of “Remedy”. Doors open at 5PM with a bell time of 5.30PM and tickets will be on sale in the new year.

This special event is the 3rd annual Remedy card and will also be the final time the W3L will visit Carnegie before the building closes for a 4 year refurbishment.

Carnegie leisure centre has played host to many classic moments over the course of the past 2 years including Charles Boddington’s first appearance in the role of W3L commissioner where he began his rivalry with Mike Musso which has since shocked the W3L to it’s foundation. At the same event Carnegie also saw the infamous ladder match with fight club retaining their W3L Tag Team titles in a bloody battle with Los Pervitos and the Highland Guns. More recently Carnegie was also the sight of Mike Musso’s heavyweight title win ending Allan Grogan’s 7 month title reign and causing Charles Boddington all kinds of stress for the remainder of the year. On September 8th this year Carnegie was chosen as the venue for Wrestlution which proved to be the biggest W3L event to date and featured an epic battle between champion Mike Musso and the legendary “Rowdy” Ricky Knight which will make its way to DVD very shortly.

During the refurbishment wrestling fans in Dunfermline need not worry as we will be relocating to the towns Glen Pavilion to bring wrestling back to that venue for the first time in years.

The stars of the World Wide Wrestling League are excited to be returning to Carnegie one last  time and the heat will be on as everyone tries to leave their mark in one of ’s finest wrestling venues.
